Learning Outcomes

Upon completing this course, students will:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the life of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) within the historical context of prophethood, from Adam (A.S.) to the final messenger.
• Analyse key events and milestones in the life of the Prophet (S.A.W.) and their impact on the development of early Islamic society.
• Explore the socio-political and cultural dynamics of 7th-century Arabia and their influence on the message of Islam.
• Understand the continuity of divine guidance throughout history and how the teachings of previous prophets culminated in the message delivered by Muhammad (S.A.W.).
• Reflect on the relevance of the Prophet’s teachings in contemporary contexts, drawing connections between historical events and modern-day challenges.
• Cultivate critical thinking skills through the analysis of historical texts and sources related to the life of the Prophet (S.A.W.).
• Enhance personal faith and understanding of Islam by connecting the historical significance of the Prophet’s life to contemporary Islamic practices and beliefs.
